Mnet’s 20’s Choice. Vote for your favorite indie/rock acts

Each year Mnet is holding “20′s choice” awards that is supposed to uncover the year’s culture trends through the eyes of the 20s generation. Actors, bands and singers who have been active from the first week of August 2012 to the first week of June 2013 are nominated. Online votes count for 50%, a 20s poll for 30% and judge scores for 20%.
Besides the flood of Korean hallyu wave acts that are presented on the voting pages we have the one category named ‘Hot Band’ where we can select our favorite indie/rock acts.
And those are this year: Daybreak, Romantic Punch, J Rabbit, Idiotape and Galaxy Express. Also you can find Daybreak’s Sad Mannequin in ‘Hot Cover’ category

The 2013 MNET 20s Choice Awards will be held on July 18, 2013 at the Korea Exhibition Center.

Voting is opened from June 27 till July 17. You can vote for each category once per day, per account. Voting is worldwide, so take your chance to choose your favorites. Link: 20choice.interest.me

Annyeongbada (안녕바다) to return with 3rd album

Annyeongbada (안녕바다 or previously Bye Bye Sea) is scheduled to release 3rd album “난 그대와 바다를 가르네” on 12th of July.
Album consists of nine new songs and two old ones ‘Monologue’ and ‘삐에로’ from the second album but in studio live versions.
Their last album ‘Pink Revolution’ was released last year and was warmly met by the audience as it presented both soft and changeable pop-rock melodies that were easily to remember.

Band will celebrate album release with the one-week long gig scheduled at Hongdae venue 'Salon Badabie' from 15th to 21st of July and symbolically called '월화수목금토일' that stands for the first letters of week days names. This week should be filled with special events for the fans - said Fluxus (band's label) representative.

Next activities for the band would be participation in Jisan World Rock Festival in August and solo concert commemorating album release on 28th of September at Mapo Art Center.

Let's wait till the 12th to hear new songs. Hope we won't be disappointed.
